The new installation program for 1.2.9 is released. It was tested with OpenSIPS 1.5.3.

Changes:

• Bug fixes in user creation
• The fields countrycode and areacode were added per user to help with normalization. (Load this data to an avp using the parameter load_credentials)
• Tomcat6 takes some time to stop. When restarting, please verify if the old process was really killed.

Installation notes:

• Please, install from the directory /usr/src
• Install using ./install.sh
• Install just after creating the OpenSIPS database
• Do not use the installation program to upgrade. Do it manually, check the database differences and recreate the admin user.
• Tables changed: Subscriber (first name and last name were deleted, countrycode and areacode were added)
• To reinstall, please stop tomcat6 and remove the directory /usr/local/tomcat6

Troubleshooting:

• Check for errors in the directory /usr/local/tomcat6/logs
• Check if your database is up and running.
